Kinetic Green Partners with Exponent Energy to Bring 15-Minute Rapid Charging to Electric 3-Wheelers

Greaves Electric Mobility

Rapid-Charging Capability Rolled Out Across Kinetic’s L3 and L5 Lineup

Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions has partnered with Exponent Energy to introduce 15-minute rapid charging to the electric three-wheeler category in India. The enhancement spans multiple Kinetic models, including the L3 Safar Smart, Safar Shakti and Super DX, along with the L5N Safar Jumbo loader and an upcoming L5M passenger model. These vehicles will now offer the rapid-charging feature in addition to their existing variants, expanding the operational flexibility for fleet operators.

The move strengthens Kinetic Green’s commitment to improving uptime, enhancing fleet economics, and supporting wider adoption of electric mobility in last-mile and mid-mile logistics. With fast turnaround times and reliable power delivery, the upgrade is designed to unlock higher productivity across commercial applications.

Immediate Access to Exponent Energy’s Fast-Charging Network

The partnership gives Kinetic’s e-3W fleet instant access to Exponent Energy’s expanding network of over 160 rapid-charging stations across four major Indian cities. The network has been designed for high energy throughput, consistent performance and efficient load management—key requirements for vehicles that operate throughout the day in demanding urban conditions.

Exponent Energy’s charging architecture ensures safe, stable and repeatable 15-minute charging cycles, which can significantly reduce downtime for operators. The availability of this network from day one gives Kinetic a strong advantage in markets where turnaround time directly affects revenue.

Strengthening India’s Commercial EV Ecosystem

This collaboration aligns with the sector-wide push to modernise commercial EV infrastructure. By combining Kinetic Green’s established presence in the e-3W market with Exponent Energy’s proven charging platform, the companies aim to accelerate cleaner, more efficient mobility solutions for logistics, passengers and micro-enterprise operators.

The partnership also reinforces industry leadership from both sides—Sulajja Firodia Motwani driving Kinetic’s product-led growth and Arun Vinayak steering Exponent’s technology edge in fast charging. Together, the companies are positioned to reshape the operational benchmarks for India’s electric three-wheelers.
