Bengaluru, September 8, 2025 – Zomato and Blinkit jointly organized the second edition of EV Bazaar 2025 at the NIMHANS Convention Center, marking a big push towards accelerating electric vehicle adoption among delivery partners. The event witnessed over 1,000 delivery partners and participation from 18 EV manufacturers and service providers, showcasing India’s growing momentum in green mobility.
Dignitaries and Highlights
The event was inaugurated by Karnataka Energy Minister K.J. George as the chief guest, with Indian cricketer Prasidh Krishna as the guest of honor. George highlighted Karnataka’s leadership in EV adoption, noting the state’s progressive policies and 5,700+ charging stations, while praising Zomato and Blinkit for empowering gig workers with sustainable mobility solutions.
Strong Industry Participation
EV manufacturers such as BGauss, Hero Motocorp, TVS Motors, Bajaj, Ampere, Bounce Infinity, Motovolt Mobility, and Quantum Energy were joined by ecosystem partners like EMO Energy, Stride Green, Kazam, and Indofast Energy, providing delivery partners with direct access to products, financing, and infrastructure.
Key Findings from EV Survey 2025
A survey conducted during the event covering 2,300+ delivery partners revealed:
- 71% willing to switch to EVs
- 72% motivated by lower running costs
- 61% driven by environmental benefits
- Concerns remain around range (61%) and charging infrastructure (51%)
Company Commitment to Green Deliveries
Anjalli Ravi Kumar, Chief Sustainability Officer at Eternal, emphasized that EV Bazaar aims to equip delivery partners with knowledge and resources to make sustainable choices. Four top-performing EV delivery partners were rewarded with free electric bikes from leading EV companies.
As of March 2025, Zomato and Blinkit together have 51,000+ EV delivery partners, covering 150 million clean kilometers. With 40+ rental and charging collaborations, the companies are determined to make sustainable, affordable, and cleaner deliveries a reality.
