Bengaluru, April 2025 – In a major step toward enhancing its EV charging innovation pipeline, Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network provider, has officially launched a new 13,000 sq. ft. Integrated Testing and Warehousing Facility (ITWF) in Bengaluru. This facility marks a significant milestone in the company’s scale-up journey, consolidating research and development, testing, warehousing, and final assembly operations under one roof.

The new facility is designed to serve as the central hub for Bolt.Earth’s entire hardware portfolio, covering a wide range of EV charging products. These include compact 3.3 kW home sockets (Pro, Lite, and Levac), AC chargers for four-wheelers (7.4 kW, 11 kW, and 22 kW), Blaze DC chargers for two-wheelers (3 kW to 10 kW), and Level 3 DC fast chargers ranging from 30 kW to 240 kW for commercial and fleet applications.

At the core of the new setup is a fully equipped R&D center that will drive the development of next-generation charging systems. Bolt.Earth’s engineering and design teams will now be able to collaborate in real time with testing and manufacturing units to reduce product development cycles and boost overall reliability.

Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO of Bolt.Earth, highlighted the facility’s role in the company’s expansion:
“This facility is a major leap forward in terms of product innovation, assembly precision, and supply chain efficiency. With tighter control across functions, we are now well-positioned to deliver scalable EV infrastructure with consistent quality.”

The integrated warehouse ensures seamless inventory flow—from raw materials to critical components and final products—supporting the company’s national network of deployments. The facility also includes advanced testing equipment for real-world simulations, stress testing, and compliance validation. These systems help Bolt.Earth ensure each product meets the company’s high performance and safety standards.

Vijay N Pannalkar, Director of Supply Chain Management at Bolt.Earth, noted the importance of this control:
“Our suppliers are true partners. This integrated model allows us to collaborate closely at every stage—ensuring quality is never compromised.”

Additionally, the company is preparing to launch an on-site EV charging station at the facility, powered by its own Blaze DC chargers, to serve as a live model for urban and intercity deployments.

The ITWF not only reflects Bolt.Earth’s technical leadership but also demonstrates its readiness to scale with India’s fast-growing demand for EV infrastructure. As the company continues to serve clients across residential, commercial, fleet, and institutional segments—including brands like Tata, Bajaj, Mahindra, SAP, American Express, and Brigade Group—this facility cements its position as a pivotal force in powering India’s clean mobility transformation.
