Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) have recorded more than 70,000 charging sessions across 10 co-branded Tata Power x TATA.ev Mega Charger hubs in India. The facilities have collectively delivered over 85,000 charging hours and supported more than 75 lakh electric kilometres, highlighting growing demand for high-speed EV charging infrastructure.
10 Mega Charger Hubs Deliver 2.7MW Capacity
The network spans Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, comprising 25 fast chargers and 56 charging guns.
Key highlights include:

- Individual hub capacity ranges from 180kW to 600kW
The hubs are strategically located along major intercity routes and within Mumbai and Hyderabad to support private EV owners, taxis, fleets and other high-frequency users.
Strategic Locations Strengthen Highway Charging
Four hubs are located along the Yamuna Expressway between Greater Noida and Agra, while three serve the Hyderabad–Vijayawada corridor. Other locations support the Bengaluru–Tirupati and Pune–Bengaluru routes.
The network also includes urban facilities in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Mumbai Hub Offers 600kW Charging Capacity
The Leela Mega Charger Hub in Mumbai, near Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, is the largest facility. It features 16 charging guns, including six 60kW chargers and two 120kW fast chargers, with total capacity of 600kW.
Tata Power Targets Larger EV Charging Network
Tata Power says its wider ecosystem includes over 6,700 public and captive charging points, more than 2.5 lakh home chargers and over 1,200 bus charging points across 690+ cities and towns.
The company aims to reach 10,000 public charging points and 7.5 lakh home chargers by 2030. Many Mega Charger hubs can be accessed through the Tata Power EZ Charge app.
