VinFast has elevated Tapan Ghosh, former CEO of VinFast India, to CEO of VinFast Asia, expanding his responsibilities to oversee operations across India and Indonesia. The move highlights the Vietnamese EV maker’s growing focus on two of Asia’s key emerging electric-vehicle markets.
A New Regional Leadership Role
Ghosh becomes the first Indian executive to lead multiple Asian markets for VinFast. He joined the company in October 2025 after spending more than 12 years at Hyundai Motor India.
