At Busworld 2025 in Brussels, JBM Electric Vehicles (JBM EV) became the only
Indian OEM to unveil a new product — the ECOLIFE e12, a fully electric city bus
designed for next-generation public transport. The 12-metre bus offers up to 400 km
range per charge, ultra-fast charging, and a lightweight stainless-steel monocoque
body. Sustainability is central to its design, featuring recyclable seats, recycled-yarn
fabrics, and cutting-edge ADAS safety systems, including AEBS, blind-spot detection,
lane departure alerts, and driver-fatigue monitoring.
European headquarters in Frankfurt to strengthen operations
Marking a strategic expansion, JBM EV has set up its European headquarters in
Frankfurt, Germany. This base will oversee sales, operations, and partnerships across
Europe, advancing the company’s mission to decarbonize public transport. With over
11,000 electric buses deployed or under execution globally, JBM continues to build on
its strong record of 200+ million e-km driven and 1+ billion kg CO₂ saved.
E-Verse ecosystem and Net Zero 2040 vision
JBM also showcased its E-Verse EV ecosystem, offering end-to-end solutions from
charging infrastructure to battery technology and power management. This
initiative supports JBM’s Net Zero 2040 goal and aligns with UN Sustainable
Development Goals focused on climate action and sustainable cities. With an annual
production capacity of 20,000 e-buses, JBM EV is accelerating the transition toward
cleaner, smarter mobility on a global scale.
