ThunderPlus and Indofast Energy have announced a strategic partnership to roll out integrated EV hubs across India. The initiative aims to bring together fast-charging infrastructure and battery swapping solutions within a single ecosystem.
Combining Charging and Swapping Infrastructure
The proposed EV hubs will offer a combination of DC fast chargers and battery swapping stations, enabling service coverage for a wide range of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial fleets.
Such integrated facilities are expected to optimise land usage, improve customer convenience, and reduce turnaround times for fleet operators and individual EV users.
Strengthening India’s EV Infrastructure Network
As EV adoption grows, scalable and accessible infrastructure remains a key enabler. Integrated hubs can serve as high-utility energy nodes, supporting both retail customers and commercial fleet operators.
The collaboration signals a broader shift toward ecosystem-driven infrastructure models that prioritise interoperability, efficiency, and multi-segment support.
