EVamp Technologies Gets ₹7 Crore for Charger Network Scaling

Greaves Electric Mobility

EVamp Technologies, a growth-stage EV infrastructure company, announced on September 18, 2025, the closing of a ₹7 crore funding round to fuel the expansion of its Mobilane public charging network and ramp up its own AC and LEV DC charger manufacturing.

The new capital will be invested in expanding EVamp’s pan-India charging footprint across highways, cities, and key commercial corridors, addressing a persistent pain point in the country’s accelerating EV market: reliable and accessible charging infrastructure. Notably, EVamp is India’s first charge point operator (CPO) to achieve profit after tax before any third-party funding, underscoring its operational strength and business model viability.

Co-founders Devansh Shah and Gunjan Mehta highlight a disciplined growth approach, marrying proprietary hardware R&D with in-house manufacturing. Their focus on technology integration and network resilience sets Mobilane apart in a competitive space.

The funds will further the deployment of advanced, user-friendly AC chargers suitable for homes, offices, and retail, as well as next-gen fast DC chargers for fleet and highway use. A robust maintenance, customer care, and analytics platform reinforces Mobilane’s reputation for uptime and user experience.

The investment comes as India’s public charging needs are forecast to skyrocket alongside record-high EV sales. Backed by a profitable, capital-efficient base, EVamp’s scaling efforts are expected to play a critical role in supporting both mass and commercial EV adoption, making 24/7 nationwide charging more accessible than ever before.
