EKA Mobility has partnered with Stellar Mobility to strengthen its electric commercial vehicle (EV) presence in Uttar Pradesh with the opening of a full-range dealership in Kanpur. Located in Bhauti, Chakarpur, the facility will bring EKA’s commercial EV portfolio closer to fleet operators and individual customers.
A One-Stop Hub for Commercial EVs
The new dealership will offer EKA’s Born Electric portfolio, covering:
- Electric three-wheelers
- 1.5–3.5-tonne small commercial vehicles
- Electric buses
- EKA 55T heavy-duty electric truck
Designed as a fully integrated 3S facility—Sales, Service and Spares, the dealership includes trained technicians, workshop infrastructure and dedicated after-sales support.
Focus on Uptime and Fleet Support
The facility will also leverage EKA’s AI-powered EKA Connect platform, supporting fleet management and helping operators monitor vehicle performance and uptime.
For commercial EV customers, access to reliable service and spare parts is increasingly important as fleets transition from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric mobility.
EKA Targets 200+ Dealerships by FY27
The Kanpur facility forms part of EKA Mobility’s broader dealership expansion strategy. The company aims to establish 200+ dealerships across more than 20 states by FY27, creating a wider sales and service ecosystem for its commercial EV range.
EKA currently operates three manufacturing facilities and is developing a new 47-acre facility in Pithampur. Planned annual manufacturing capacity across its facilities is expected to reach:
- 10,000 buses
- 24,000 SCVs
- 4,000 trucks
Building the Commercial EV Ecosystem
EKA’s dealership expansion highlights a critical factor in commercial EV adoption: vehicle availability alone is not enough. Strong sales, service, spare-parts access and fleet support are essential to maintaining uptime and building operator confidence.
