BikeWo Green Tech Limited has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hala Mobility to explore the deployment and management of electric vehicle (EV) fleets. The partnership will initially target around 1,000 EVs, with a potential scale-up to 10,000 vehicles over the next three years.
1,000 EVs To Lay The Groundwork For Expansion
The first phase will focus on establishing a scalable fleet operating model and evaluating the commercial and operational viability of the partnership.
Key areas of collaboration include:
- EV deployment and fleet utilisation
- Vehicle and fleet management
- Charging and energy solutions
- Maintenance and servicing
- Technology-enabled fleet operations
The companies will use insights from the initial deployment to determine the pace and scope of future expansion.
Partnership Targets 10,000 EVs In Three Years
BikeWo and Hala Mobility aim to expand the fleet to approximately 10,000 EVs within three years, subject to the performance of the initial phase and mutually agreed commercial arrangements.
The partners may also explore expansion into new geographies, vehicle categories and customer segments as the collaboration develops.
Wider EV Mobility Ecosystem In Focus
Beyond fleet deployment, the companies plan to examine opportunities across vehicle leasing, charging infrastructure, fleet management, logistics, enterprise mobility and energy solutions.
BikeWo CEO Hiten Pal Saklani said the initial 1,000-vehicle deployment would help establish the foundation for a larger fleet, highlighting the potential to reach around 10,000 EVs over three years.
The collaboration supports BikeWo’s broader strategy of building an integrated mobility and logistics ecosystem spanning EV deployment, leasing, servicing, energy infrastructure and technology.
Since the MoU is non-binding, all proposed deployments and future expansion remain subject to definitive agreements, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
