To facilitate this expansion, Bigbasket has joined hands with EV solutions provider Kazam to deploy advanced charging and fleet management infrastructure.

As of now:

  • 4000+ EV charging points have been activated
  • 773 of Bigbasket’s locations are EV-ready

This partnership is enabling the brand to operate a smarter and greener last-mile delivery system, setting new benchmarks in e-commerce logistics.

Target 2030: A 60% EV Fleet
TK Balakumar, Chief Operating Officer at Bigbasket, revealed the company’s ambitious goal of converting 60% of its delivery fleet to electric vehicles by the year 2030. This initiative is part of a broader roadmap to slash carbon emissions and modernize delivery operations with clean energy.

  • Over 3.2 GWh of electricity from clean sources has powered its EV fleet
