Battery Smart’s swap network powers over 1,000 Batt:RE e-scooters
Batt:RE has partnered with Battery Smart to roll out Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions for electric two-wheelers in Jaipur. The collaboration is already powering Beez Electric’s fleet of more than 1,000 Batt:RE e-scooters using Battery Smart’s swapping infrastructure. With over 100 swap stations operational across the city, riders can replace batteries in under two minutes — enhancing uptime, operational efficiency, and convenience.
Accelerating Jaipur’s EV ecosystem
This initiative strengthens Jaipur’s position as a growing EV hub in North India. By enabling instant battery swaps, the program addresses major adoption barriers such as charging time and range anxiety. The move aligns with India’s broader push for shared and sustainable mobility solutions, while supporting fleet operators with predictable costs and scalable energy access.
Expansion plans beyond Rajasthan
Building on Jaipur’s success, Batt:RE and Battery Smart plan to expand this model to other cities across India by 2026. The partners aim to support electric mobility growth in urban centers where commercial and delivery fleets are rapidly electrifying. This collaboration also highlights the role of public-private models in advancing battery interoperability and efficient energy use.
