Hyundai Motor India has strengthened its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure with the inauguration of 120kW DC fast-charging stations at multiple locations in New Delhi. The chargers have been installed in partnership with Statiq and are accessible through the myHyundai app and other charging-management platforms.
Hyundai Targets 600 Fast-Charging Stations by 2030
Hyundai currently operates 185 DC fast-charging stations across 105 cities and plans to expand its proprietary network to 600 stations by 2030. The network will cover major cities, highways and Hyundai dealerships.
Its DC fast-charging solutions range from 60kW to 240kW, while the myHyundai app provides access to more than 38,000 charging points through partnerships with multiple charge point operators.

- Advance charging reservations
- Digital payments
- Access for EV owners across brands
Hyundai is also offering complimentary charging for its EV owners from September 9 to 11, 2026, when using its public chargers through the myHyundai app.
Expanding EV-Ready Sales and Service Network
Alongside charging infrastructure, Hyundai is expanding its EV-focused workforce and dealership capabilities. More than 2,600 dealership personnel are currently trained in EV service functions, with another 5,000 targeted by the end of FY2026-27.
The company also plans to reach:
- 820 EV-ready sales touchpoints
- 650 EV-ready workshops
- 17,000+ trained EV sales personnel
Hyundai currently sells the IONIQ 5 and CRETA Electric in India and plans to introduce a locally manufactured mass-market SUV EV based on a dedicated EV platform. The expanded charging and service ecosystem is expected to support the company’s broader EV ambitions in India.
