Youdha has unveiled the limited-edition EPOD-Bharat electric three-wheeler at the Bharat Vyapar Mahotsav in New Delhi, combining Indian Warli art with electric mobility.

A Fusion of Tradition and Electric Mobility

Electric commercial vehicle maker Youdha has introduced the EPOD-Bharat, a limited-edition electric passenger three-wheeler featuring hand-painted Warli artwork. The vehicle was unveiled on August 17 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The artwork celebrates themes including women, rural life, nature and community, bringing a traditional Indian art form to a modern electric mobility platform.

227 km Range for Everyday Commercial Use

Built on Youdha’s existing L5 electric passenger platform, the EPOD-Bharat is powered by a 6 kW motor and an 11.8 kWh lithium-ion LFP battery.

Key specifications:

  • Certified range: 227 km per charge
  • Motor: 6 kW
  • Torque: 50 Nm
  • Battery: 11.8 kWh LFP
  • Drive modes: City and Boost
  • Water-wading capacity: 300 mm
  • Price: ₹3.20 lakh

The dual driving modes allow operators to prioritise efficiency or performance based on road and load conditions.

Built for India’s Commercial Mobility Market

Youdha is targeting self-employed drivers and small mobility entrepreneurs, where lower running costs and practical range are key purchase considerations.

The EPOD is manufactured at Youdha’s Kashipur, Uttarakhand facility, which has an annual installed capacity of one lakh units and features automated assembly and end-of-line testing infrastructure.

Celebrating Indian Art on an EV Platform

Youdha CEO Ayush Lohia said the EPOD-Bharat is a tribute to Indian women and artisans. The limited-edition model highlights how traditional art can be integrated into contemporary electric mobility products.

The EPOD-Bharat remains a special-edition variant, rather than a replacement for the standard EPOD lineup.
