TVS Motor Company, a leading global automaker in the two- and three-wheeler segments, has launched its connected passenger electric three-wheeler, the TVS King EV MAX, in Tamil Nadu. This new model marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to sustainable urban mobility, offering a blend of innovative technology and eco-friendly solutions designed for both fleet operators and everyday commuters.
At the launch, Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility at TVS Motor Company, emphasized the importance of clean mobility as urban areas expand. The TVS King EV MAX stands out with a certified range of up to 179 km on a single charge. It supports quick charging, reaching 80% in just 2 hours and 15 minutes and a full charge in 3.5 hours. Powered by a high-performance 51.2V lithium-ion LFP battery, the vehicle delivers a top speed of 60 km/h, with selectable drive modes: ECO (40 km/h), City (50 km/h), and Power (60 km/h). The electric three-wheeler accelerates from 0 to 30 km/h in 3.7 seconds, ensuring efficient and responsive urban travel.
A key highlight is the integration of TVS SmartXonnect™, India’s first Bluetooth-enabled connectivity platform for electric three-wheelers. This system provides real-time navigation, alerts, and vehicle diagnostics directly to users’ smartphones, enhancing both convenience and operational efficiency.
Designed for comfort and practicality, the King EV MAX features a spacious cabin, ergonomic seating, and a robust build suitable for city driving. It can manage inclines of up to 31% and traverse water depths of up to 500 mm, making it well-suited for diverse urban environments.
The TVS King EV MAX is priced at ₹2.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu) and comes with a comprehensive warranty of six years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. Customers also benefit from 24/7 roadside assistance for the first three years, ensuring peace of mind for both individual and fleet buyers.
