As India accelerates toward an electrified future, the spotlight has rightly been on electric vehicles, battery innovation, and charging infrastructure. But behind every functioning charger—whether on a highway corridor or in a residential parking lot—is a compact yet powerful component often overlooked: the charge controller.
This is where i-Elektrik is redefining the game. Since 2022, we’ve supplied over 1,500 charge controllers for both AC and DC chargers, powering networks from Tier 1 cities to last-mile logistics hubs. With a year-on-year growth of over 100%, our momentum reflects a real, pressing demand for indigenous, adaptable controller solutions— especially as India gears up for the FAME III and PM-eDrive era.
Our charge controller platform is fully designed and manufactured in India. It supports chargers across a broad power spectrum— from 7.4 kW AC wall boxes to 240 kW DC fast chargers—and integrates communication protocols like OCPP 2.0.1 and ISO 15118, including PLC for vehicle to-grid readiness. This makes it not just a controller, but the digital spine of any smart EVSE.
What sets us apart isn’t just technical capability—it’s execution. i-Elektrik is the only Indian company to have commercially deployed over 200 units of 12 kW LEV DC chargers, a critical category for two- and three wheeler ecosystems. These chargers are already serving fleet operations and rural nodes where affordability and throughput matter most.
In parallel, our upcoming AC controller with integrated PLC will enable real-time load management, tariff-based charging, and renewable energy syncing—making AC charging both smart and grid-adaptive.
Whether you’re an OEM, CPO, or policy stakeholder, the takeaway is clear: EVSE hardware must evolve beyond static boxes. It needs a brain that’s secure, local, scalable, and smart. That’s what we build— and we’re just getting started.
