Delhi-based automotive deep-tech startup Six Sense Mobility has raised ₹44 crore (~$4.8 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by prominent investor Ashish Kacholia, with continued support from Piper Serica Angel Fund. The fresh capital will primarily be used to establish a new electronics manufacturing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with an initial annual production capacity exceeding one million units, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s vision to strengthen India’s automotive electronics ecosystem.
Full-Stack Automotive Electronics and Connected Tech Supplier
Six Sense Mobility, incubated at IIT Delhi and founded in 2022, operates as a full-stack Tier-1 supplier, handling electronics product development from hardware and firmware to OEM-grade manufacturing in-house. Its product suite includes Advanced Telematics Control Units, Body Control Units, and Intelligent Implement Control Systems, already supplied to major automotive customers such as Sonalika Tractors and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles. The company has deployed between 25,000 and 30,000 devices across India and Europe.
Scaling Production to Meet Market Demand
The new investment supports Six Sense Mobility’s plans to scale production, strengthen OEM partnerships, and accelerate product development to meet rising demand for intelligent automotive systems. With an order book exceeding ₹160 crore and a growing market shift toward software-defined and connected vehicles, the startup aims to reduce India’s dependence on imported automotive tech and bolster domestic capability across the mobility value chain.
