Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) unveiled its RAGE+ Tipper with hydraulics at Municipalika 2026 in New Delhi, introducing a purpose-built electric three-wheeler for municipal waste management.
Priced at ₹4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the RAGE+ Tipper is designed for municipal corporations, urban local bodies, and sanitation departments transitioning toward zero-emission fleets.
Built for Urban Waste Management Operations
The vehicle delivers a claimed 250 km range on a single charge and is powered by a 15 kWh battery pack the largest in its segment. It features a hydraulic tipping mechanism for efficient unloading, a durable all-metal body, and a 500 kg load-carrying capacity suited for intensive municipal duty cycles.
Additional highlights include an IP67-rated charger for enhanced safety and weather resistance, along with an industry-leading warranty of 5 years or 2 lakh kilometres, supporting long-term operational reliability.
Growing B2G Momentum
Electric garbage tippers are becoming a critical category within India’s B2G (Business-to-Government) EV segment. With urban waste vehicles operating in high-density zones, electrification helps reduce emissions, noise pollution, and fuel costs while improving efficiency.
Omega Seiki Mobility has already supplied over 200 electric garbage tippers across India, particularly in western states. The company currently holds a B2G order book of 500 vehicles and is targeting deployment of 1,000 garbage tippers in FY 2026–27, reflecting accelerating demand from government bodies.
Supporting National Sustainability Missions
As municipalities align with sustainability initiatives such as Swachh Bharat, electric sanitation fleets are increasingly viewed as strategic infrastructure investments.
Through continued focus on localisation, performance engineering, and urban mobility solutions, Omega Seiki Mobility is strengthening its position in India’s electric three-wheeler and municipal EV ecosystem.
