MGDP Season 6 Opens for Automotive Startups
JSW MG Motor India has launched Season 6.0 of its developer program.
The company partnered with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade to support startups.
The theme this year is Innovation in Automobile.
Startups can submit ideas that solve real mobility problems.
Applications are open now and will close on April 30, 2026.
Shortlisted teams will receive mentoring support.
They will also present ideas during Demo Day on June 1, 2026.
This helps startups test their ideas in real environments.
Focus Areas Include EVs, AI, and Connected Mobility
The program covers many future mobility topics.
These include EV charging, vehicle technology, and connected services.
It also supports ideas in logistics and manufacturing innovation.
In addition, startups can explore sustainability and circular economy solutions.
These areas help improve modern transport systems.
They also support cleaner and smarter mobility solutions.
As a result, the program promotes strong technical growth.
Startups Gain Mentorship and Industry Support
The MG Developer Program started in 2019.
Since then, it has received more than 1,550 entries.
Over 290 teams were shortlisted across earlier seasons.
Many teams received mentorship from industry experts.
Selected startups get testing support and expert guidance.
Some teams also receive grant assistance.
This helps turn ideas into working products.
