“Green Hai Toh Zypp Hai”: How Zypp Electric and Gurugram Police Are Driving a New Culture of Safety and Sustainability

Greaves Electric Mobility

In a significant move to champion both electric mobility and road safety, EV logistics leader Zypp Electric has partnered with the Gurugram Traffic Police to launch the “Green Hai Toh Zypp Hai” campaign. Kicking off with an EV awareness rally attended by Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Mohan, DCP Traffic Gurugram, the initiative unites sustainability and safety under a single, powerful mission to foster a more responsible and eco-friendly urban transport culture.

Beyond Awareness: Embedding Safety into Operations

This collaboration goes far beyond a one-time event. At its core is a commitment to integrate structured road safety modules directly into the Zypp Pilot App. This ensures that Zypp’s extensive network of delivery partners receives continuous training and incentives to adhere to traffic regulations. With the motto “Drive Right Shine Bright,” the initiative aims to create a tangible, behavioral shift, making every delivery not just green, but also safe.

A Milestone Moment for a Market Leader

The campaign launch coincides with a major milestone for Zypp Electric: the company’s Foundation Day and its achievement of becoming EBITDA positive. This financial landmark adds significant weight to its mission, backed by an impressive track record of over 112 million deliveries and more than 55 million kgs of CO2 emissions saved. The initiative is not just a corporate social responsibility effort but a reflection of a mature, sustainable business model.

Scaling the Vision for a Carbon-Free Future

With a current fleet of over 20,000 EVs, Zypp Electric has ambitious plans for the future. The company is set to expand its fleet to 100,000 vehicles in the next 12-18 months and aims for 500,000 within the next four years. This aggressive scaling strategy underscores its ultimate goal: achieving 100% electrification of last-mile delivery in India by 2028 and proving that rapid growth and ecological responsibility can, and must, go hand in hand.
