Honda Activa e Makes Its Debut in India’s EV Market
Honda has officially entered India’s electric vehicle market with the launch of the Honda Activa e. Designed exclusively for Indian consumers, the Activa e is equipped with dual swappable battery packs that deliver a maximum range of 102 km. This marks Honda’s first step in its plan to introduce 30 electric models globally by 2030.

- Motor: In-wheel electric motor with a 4.2 kW rated output and a peak output of 6.0 kW.
- Torque: Offers 22Nm of peak torque for smooth acceleration.
- Battery: Two swappable 1.5 kWh batteries with Honda’s e:Swap technology.

- Top Speed: Achieves a maximum speed of 80 kmph in Sport mode.
- Riding Modes: Offers Econ, Standard, Sport, and reverse modes for convenience.
- Braking and Design: Features alloy wheels, front disc brakes, LED DRL, LED headlamp with turn indicators, and a completely revamped modern design.
Availability and Variants
- Variants: Available in Standard and Sync Duo models.
- Colors: Offered in five color options, including Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Serenity Blue, and Matt Foggy Silver Metallic.
- Launch Cities: Deliveries will begin in Spring 2025 in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai.
- Battery Service: Honda will introduce the e:Swap battery-sharing service, making charging more convenient for urban users.

Honda also introduced the QC1, a compact electric scooter for short commutes.
