In a significant milestone for India’s agricultural and technological sectors, AutoNxt has launched the country’s first electric tractor, the AutoNxt X45H2, in Thane. The event, was attended by Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde.
Key Features and Benefits
The AutoNxt X45H2 is designed to revolutionize farming practices with its eco-friendly and cost-effective features. Priced at ₹15 lakhs, this electric tractor offers several advantages over traditional diesel-powered tractors.
Cost Efficiency: The electric tractor significantly reduces operating costs. While a conventional tractor consumes diesel worth approximately ₹3,000 daily, the AutoNxt X45H2 operates at just ₹300 per day.
Charging and Performance: It takes only 3 hours to fully charge the tractor, which can then run for up to 8 hours. The tractor boasts a loading capacity of 10-15 tons and a strong lifting capacity of 1800 kilograms.
Advanced Technology: The AutoNxt X45H2 features smooth, smart, electrically controlled power steering, enhancing the user experience and operational efficiency.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde highlighted the tractor’s role in advancing sustainable agricultural practices. He emphasized that such innovations are crucial for reducing fuel expenditures and environmental impact, aligning with the nation’s shift towards eco-friendly transportation.

The launch event saw the presence of several prominent individuals, including Dr. Shrikanth Shinde, MP of Kalyan, and other notable corporate executives and dignitaries from Maharashtra.
