BikeWo Green Tech has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with electric tractor maker Moonrider to explore electric tractor deployments across institutional, commercial and specialised operating environments.
Partnership Targets Enterprise EV Applications
The collaboration will combine Moonrider’s electric tractor technology with BikeWo’s fleet deployment, leasing and operational capabilities. The companies will identify potential use cases and assess deployment models based on customer requirements.
Potential applications include:
- Agriculture and farming operations
- Industrial facilities and warehouses
- Logistics hubs
- Airports and ports
- Other controlled or high-utilisation environments
The companies will also evaluate pilot projects and identify potential institutional customers before developing commercial deployment models.
Focus On Fleet Deployment And Leasing
Under the MoU, BikeWo will explore supporting Moonrider’s existing and prospective customers through fleet deployment, leasing, operations and related commercial structures.
BikeWo CEO Hiten Pal Saklani said the partnership will focus on applications where operating patterns and economics can support electric tractor adoption. The companies will assess commercially viable models by combining Moonrider’s product capabilities with BikeWo’s institutional relationships and operational infrastructure.
Expanding Electric Mobility Beyond Last-Mile Applications
The partnership forms part of BikeWo’s efforts to expand into specialised electric mobility applications beyond conventional last-mile transportation. The company is working with OEMs and technology providers to develop EV deployment models for enterprise and institutional customers.
Moonrider, founded in 2023, develops heavy-duty electric tractors for farmers, industries and fleet operators. BikeWo operates across vehicle deployment, leasing, fleet operations and supporting mobility infrastructure.
The MoU does not constitute a commitment for specific vehicle purchases or deployments. Any procurement, leasing or vehicle deployment will be subject to separate definitive agreements.
