Partnership makes EV charging easier
Bolt.Earth joined hands with Ather Energy to improve EV charging access. This partnership helps riders find chargers faster. Now, riders can see fast chargers on the Ather app and dashboard. They can also book and charge using the Bolt.Earth app.
As a result, charging becomes simple and quick. Riders do not need to search many apps. Instead, they find chargers in one place. This saves time and reduces worry during travel.
More fast chargers across Indian cities
The companies added over 195 Blaze DC 3 kW chargers across 100+ cities. These include cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi. These chargers use Type 7 connectors. They support LECCS-compatible vehicles.
Importantly, these chargers work very fast. They can give up to 40 km range in just 15 minutes. Therefore, riders can travel longer distances with less waiting time. This makes EVs more useful for daily travel.
Future plans support more EV users
Bolt.Earth plans to add 6 kW and 12 kW Blaze DC chargers soon. These chargers will support both two-wheelers and three-wheelers. This step will help more drivers use electric vehicles. It will also improve charging speed in busy areas.
