Kinetic Watts & Volts (KWV), the electric vehicle subsidiary of Pune

 Kinetic Engineering Limited (KEL), has initiated deliveries of its flagship electric scooter, the Kinetic DX, marking a significant milestone in its EV journey. Following strong pre-launch bookings, KWV is expanding its dealer network nationwide with the launch of five new dealerships to accelerate market penetration. The Kinetic DX is rapidly gaining popularity as a preferred daily scooter, featuring key attributes like Easy Key, Easy Charge, and a robust metal body with 37-liter storage, catering well to Indian family needs.

Robust Manufacturing and Backward Integration

Kinetic Engineering has invested in manufacturing upgrades to support KWV’s electrification ambitions, including a newly inaugurated robotic chassis line, upgraded paint shop, and expanded metal pressing facilities. These enhancements boost production efficiency for both the Kinetic DX and E-Luna models, demonstrating strong backward integration within its electric mobility ecosystem. The company’s integrated manufacturing approach ensures consistent supply chain efficiency to meet growing EV demand.

Strategic Growth Outlook and Revenue Targets

KWV aims to sell 5,000 units by March 2025 and projects 60,000 EV sales with a revenue target of ₹600 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26. KEL expects this subsidiary to contribute approximately ₹50 crore to consolidated sales by March 2025, with overall consolidated revenue forecasted to reach ₹800 crore. Beyond electric mobility, Kinetic Engineering continues to expand its auto components business and engage with new customers in the sector, underpinning a diversified and profitable growth strategy.
