India’s First 24/7 Staffed EV Charging Hubs
TATA.ev and Voltran have launched 14 manned MegaChargers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, a first-of-its-kind initiative in India’s EV sector. These hubs replicate the convenience and reliability of fuel stations, ensuring a human-assisted, secure, and digital-friendly charging experience. Each site is staffed round-the-clock by trained marshals to support drivers and enable seamless EV operations on highways and intercity routes.
TATA.ev’s Expanding Charging Ecosystem
The rollout strengthens TATA.ev’s national charging footprint to over 70 operational sites under its “Open Collaboration 2.0” initiative. This program fosters partnerships with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to create high-speed EV corridors across the country. By 2027, TATA.ev plans to deploy 500 MegaChargers and over 400,000 charging points, building the foundation for intercity EV travel at scale.
A Step Toward Reliable and User-Centric Charging
The partnership addresses range anxiety and charging reliability, key barriers in India’s EV journey. With multiple payment options, AI-backed infrastructure, and customer amenities like lounges and food outlets, the TATA.ev x Voltran MegaChargers deliver a premium and practical charging experience. This marks a major advancement in making electric mobility accessible and dependable for the mass market.
Driving India’s EV Future
As India accelerates its shift toward sustainable transport, initiatives like these will define the next phase of EV adoption. The TATA.ev–Voltran collaboration demonstrates how service quality, reliability, and comfort can transform charging from a necessity into a consumer-driven experience.
