Swiggy partnership with Bounce Infinity

In a significant move to green its delivery fleet, food-tech giant Swiggy has announced a strategic partnership with electric mobility startup Bounce. The collaboration aims to deploy a fleet of electric scooters for Swiggy’s delivery partners, starting with an initial rollout in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. This initiative is designed to reduce the carbon footprint of hyperlocal deliveries while lowering the operational costs for the company’s extensive network of riders.

Phased Rollout and Seamless Integration

The first phase of the partnership will see Bounce deploy its electric scooters across the two cities over the next three months. These vehicles will be made available to Swiggy and Instamart delivery partners at special rental pricing through both the Bounce Daily app and Swiggy’s own delivery partner app. Bounce will manage the entire lifecycle of the fleet, including deployment, maintenance, and battery swapping, ensuring a hassle-free experience for the riders.

Aligning with Long-Term Sustainability Goals

This partnership is a key component of Swiggy’s ambitious goal to transition to a 100% electric delivery fleet by 2030. The company already works with over 50 EV partners across the country, and this collaboration with Bounce is expected to significantly strengthen its EV supply. By providing affordable and accessible electric vehicles, Swiggy is empowering its 5.4 lakh delivery partners to make a smooth transition to greener mobility.

Incentivizing Adoption Through Engagement

To encourage its delivery partners to embrace the new EV fleet, Swiggy and Bounce have launched the “Swiggy Bounce Raja” campaign. This engagement drive rewards the delivery partner who completes the highest number of orders on a Bounce scooter with a brand-new electric scooter. With two successful campaigns already concluded in May and July, the initiative is proving to be an effective way to drive adoption and celebrate the top-performing riders in the new electric ecosystem.
