Ola Electric has set a landmark record in the Indian electric two-wheeler market by becoming the first manufacturer to surpass 900,000 retail unit sales. Since entering the market in late 2021, Ola has clocked 917,889 units by the end of June 2025, according to Vahan portal data.

Ola’s rise has been meteoric since its debut, consistently outperforming rivals and setting industry benchmarks:
- CY2021 – 240 units sold in its launch year (Market share: 0.15%)
- CY2022 – 109,403 units, Market share: 17.32% (More than combined sales of Ather Energy and TVS Motor)
- CY2023 – 267,386 units, 144% YoY growth, Market share: 30.37%
- CY2024 – 407,692 units, 52% YoY growth, Market share: 35.47% (Record year for India’s e-2W industry with 1.14 million sales)
