Sahil Jindal’s Trevel Launches Premium EV Cab Service in Gurugram to Rival Ola Uber

Greaves Electric Mobility

Sahil Jindal, Managing Director of Jindal Group, spearheads Trevel’s entry into India’s urban mobility market. The Gurugram-based service offers chauffeur-driven electric cabs for city rides, airport transfers, and hourly rentals. It adopts a fleet-led model with partner-operated luxury EVs, including MG Windsor models.

Fleet Strategy and Pilot Success

Trevel conceptualised Trevel after identifying gaps in Ola, Uber, and Rapido’s ride-hailing experiences. The company completed a pilot with over 50 rides in the past month, prioritising scheduled bookings over app-based aggregation. AI-driven scheduling ensures punctuality and route efficiency.

Expansion Amid Market Shifts

BluSmart’s suspension created a void in premium EV cabs, which Trevel aims to capture. Plans include scaling to 500 electric vehicles by 2026, with outstation services next. Jindal Group’s EV expertise supports charging infrastructure and fleet growth.

Gurugram as Launchpad

High corporate travel and airport proximity make Gurugram ideal for Trevel’s rollout. The service emphasises predictable quality and sustainability. Future updates will cover app launches and vehicle additions.
