[ September 23, 2026 ] Instamart Partners With Yulu, Yuma to Expand EV Access for Delivery PartnersSwiggy Instamart is expanding electric mobility options for its delivery partners through partnerships with Yulu and Yuma Energy. The initiative combines electric two-wheeler rentals, cashback incentives and battery-swapping infrastructure to make EV adoption more practical for last-mile delivery riders.Yuma Battery Swapping Stations Coming to Instamart PODsUnder its partnership with Yuma Energy, Instamart will provide space at selected PODs, or dark stores, for battery-swapping stations. Yuma currently operates more than 2,000 battery-swapping units, with a typical battery swap taking less than two minutes.Delivery partners travelling more than 90 km per day may require around two battery swaps. Locating swapping stations closer to Instamart PODs could save riders up to 60 minutes per day in travel and waiting time.Key Benefits of the Yuma Partnership- Battery swapping available closer to delivery hubs- Swaps completed in under two minutes- Reduced travel and waiting time- Improved EV uptime for delivery operationsThe first station under the initiative was inaugurated at an Instamart POD earlier in September 2026.Yulu Rental Cashback Helps Lower EV CostsInstamart is also working with Yulu to make electric two-wheelers more affordable for delivery partners.
