ElectricPe Accelerates Growth Plans with Strategic Leadership Hire

ElectricPe has appointed former Vegh Automobiles CEO Pragya Goyal to drive its nationwide expansion. The EV super-app plans to open 50 mobility centers across 24 Indian cities by June 2025, marking a significant phase in its growth story.

From Startups to Scale: A Leader’s Journey

Goyal brings rich experience from her time at Vegh Automobiles, where she built a network of over 100 dealerships from scratch. Her innovative approach helped launch several EV two-wheeler products across different market segments. Earlier, at Ashok Leyland, she pioneered ‘Service Mandi,’ a digital platform revolutionizing commercial vehicle services.

Expanding Beyond Karnataka

Fresh from its successful pilot in Karnataka, ElectricPe is now ready for a nationwide rollout. “We have proven our full-stack EV model works,” says Avinash Sharma, ElectricPe’s Founder and CEO. “Pragya joins us at a crucial time as we prepare to launch 50 new mobility centers in the next four months.”

Breaking Down EV Adoption Barriers

The company launched its first mobility centers in December 2023, offering both digital and physical touchpoints for customers. These centers make it easier for people to explore and finance electric two-wheelers while ensuring reliable after-sales service.

ElectricPe has also partnered with Google to integrate real-time charging point availability into Google Maps. Additionally, the company offers flexible battery subscription plans to address ownership concerns.

Shaping India’s Electric Future

“The EV ecosystem is ready for rapid growth in India,” Goyal says. “By creating more touchpoints across the country, we can build trust and simplify the EV ownership experience.”

The expansion plans reflect growing confidence in India’s EV market. Through its network of mobility centers, ElectricPe aims to make electric vehicles more accessible to Indian consumers, supporting the country’s transition to sustainable mobility.

This strategic expansion, led by Goyal, could reshape how Indians approach electric vehicle ownership. With a proven leader at the helm and a clear growth strategy in place, ElectricPe appears well-positioned to accelerate India’s electric mobility journey.
