CAD Engineer

Role Overview:

As a CAD Engineer, you will use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed models and designs for electric vehicle components. Your work will contribute to the development of efficient and high-performance EV systems, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards.

Key Objectives:

  • Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and drawings of EV components, including battery housings, motor mounts, and chassis structures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet performance requirements.
  • Testing & Validation: Support testing and validation of designs through simulations and physical prototypes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of all designs and revisions.

Required Background and Skillset:

  • CAD Software: Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CATIA.
  • Design Standards: Knowledge of automotive design standards and best practices.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
