Battery Management Systems (BMS) Engineer

Role Overview:

As a BMS Engineer, you will develop and implement advanced Battery Management Systems to monitor, control, and protect EV batteries. Your work will ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of battery systems, contributing to the overall performance of electric vehicles.

Key Objectives:

  • BMS Design: Design and develop BMS algorithms and hardware to ensure optimal battery performance and safety.
  • Testing & Validation: Conduct testing and validation of BMS systems to meet safety and performance standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze battery data to improve BMS algorithms and enhance battery lifespan.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with battery engineers and software developers to integrate BMS with vehicle systems.

Required Background and Skillset:

  • BMS Technology: Expertise in battery management systems, including state-of-charge (SOC) and state-of-health (SOH) estimation.
  • Software Tools: Proficiency in BMS simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and embedded systems development.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in BMS development.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
