India’s electric vehicle landscape is evolving — and AMP is steering it in a new direction. The company has launched the country’s first premium EV subscription platform, designed for salaried professionals who want to drive luxury electric vehicles without the long-term commitment of ownership.
The platform offers subscriptions for brands such as BMW, Mercedes, BYD, Audi, and Volvo, combining convenience, flexibility, and financial efficiency. Announced on October 31, 2025, AMP’s service is now operational in the National Capital Region (NCR), with plans to deploy 300 premium EVs over the next 12 months and expand to five more regions within 60 months.
A Financially Smart Alternative to EV Ownership
AMP’s model removes traditional barriers to EV adoption such as:
- High upfront costs of luxury vehicles
- Concerns about maintenance and depreciation
- Range anxiety and resale uncertainties
According to Bharat Bala, Chief Electric Officer of AMP, the service isn’t just a transportation solution but a financial innovation. “Our service provides flexibility for consumers while creating tax efficiency for both individual users and MSMEs,” he said.
Driving India’s Sustainable Mobility Future
As India’s cities shift toward sustainable and flexible ownership models, AMP’s approach could redefine premium mobility. The company’s digital platform allows users to browse vehicles, manage subscriptions, and track performance seamlessly — setting a new benchmark for convenience in EV access.
With the nation’s EV adoption still in early stages, AMP’s premium subscription platform could become a gateway for professionals to experience luxury electric mobility without the strings of ownership.
