Structured Deployment Plan for Noida’s EV Logistics Push

EV marketplace and fleet operator Lilypad has unveiled a structured fleet expansion plan to deploy 1,000 electric two-wheelers across Noida by mid-2026. This initiative strengthens the company’s role in cleaner last-mile logistics, driven by the rising demand from e-commerce, grocery delivery, and hyperlocal mobility services. Lilypad’s phased approach combines operational discipline with financial preparedness to ensure steady rollout.

₹50 Lakh Internal Capital and ₹2.5 Crore Funding Pipeline

As part of the expansion, Lilypad has allocated ₹50 lakh of internal capital, demonstrating early-stage commitment from the company’s own resources. In addition, it has secured a funding pipeline of approximately ₹2.5 crore to support fleet procurement and deployment. The company aims to meet its 1,000-vehicle target within 7–8 months, leveraging both internal funds and external investor support.

The fleet expansion begins this month with the deployment of 150 electric vehicles. This will be followed by quarterly additions of 250 e-2Ws, enabling a predictable and scalable growth trajectory. Such staggered deployment not only optimizes capital utilization but also allows Lilypad to expand in sync with demand patterns across delivery hubs.

Strengthening Noida’s Last-Mile Efficiency with Electric Mobility

Last-mile delivery demand in Noida has been accelerating due to rapid urban growth and the expansion of digital commerce. By introducing 1,000 electric two-wheelers, Lilypad aims to enhance delivery efficiency while reducing emissions and operational costs for partner businesses. Electric two-wheelers also provide better uptime and lower running expenses, making them an attractive choice for gig workers and fleet operators in NCR.

With this initiative, Lilypad positions itself as a key contributor to Noida’s transition toward sustainable logistics. The company’s expansion model demonstrates how strategically managed EV fleets can accelerate clean mobility adoption in high-demand urban zones.
