Zenergize Technologies has raised $4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round comprising equity and venture debt. The Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup develops Silicon Carbide (SiC)-based power electronics for electric mobility, renewable energy and industrial applications.
The round was led by Giraffe Studios, with participation from industrial entrepreneurs, angel investors and existing backers.
🚀 From Commercialisation to ₹30 Crore Revenue Run Rate
Zenergize achieved an annual revenue run rate of ₹30 crore within its first year of commercial operations, alongside an order book exceeding ₹150 crore.
The company aims to use the latest funding to push its annual revenue run rate beyond ₹100 crore.
🏭 Funding to Drive Manufacturing and R&D
The fresh capital will primarily support:
- Expansion of manufacturing capacity
- Growth of its pan-India sales and service network
- Accelerated research and development
- Development of solutions for enterprise and OEM customers
⚡ Building Indigenous SiC Power Electronics
Zenergize claims to have developed India’s first indigenous SiC-based DC fast charger and solar inverter platforms.
Its current portfolio includes:
- AC and DC EV chargers up to 240 kW
- Solar inverters
- Automotive-certified EV charging products
- BIS-certified solar inverters
The company is also developing hybrid inverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
🔋 Why SiC Matters for EVs and Renewable Energy
SiC semiconductors can deliver higher efficiency and power density than conventional silicon components. This makes the technology increasingly important for EV charging, solar power conversion and industrial power systems.
With the new funding, Zenergize plans to strengthen its manufacturing and engineering capabilities while expanding customer partnerships across India.
