Plot Allotment Boosts EV Cluster Near Noida Airport
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) issued a letter of intent to Neenjas Electric for a 20,000 sqm plot in Sector 8D. This addition strengthens the EV manufacturing hub near the upcoming Noida International Airport. Yeida CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh handed the letter to managing director Vineet Gupta on Friday.
Focus on Chargers and Solar Tech for Indian Market
The facility targets on-board EV chargers and solar power banks for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles. Products feature high IP ratings and suit Indian operating conditions. Officials highlight strengthened domestic supply chains for power electronics and renewable storage.
Strategic Location and Investment Impact
Sector 8D provides airport proximity and expressway logistics advantages. The project involves ₹169 crore investment and supports local employment. Yeida positions the region as a key EV and allied manufacturing destination, aiding India’s clean energy transition.
