
Bengaluru-based electric scooter startup River EV has officially entered North India with the grand opening of its flagship company-owned outlet in Rajouri Garden, Delhi. Announced on September 29–30, 2025, this marks a significant milestone in the startup’s national growth ambitions, with the new 6,300 sq. ft. showroom serving as a regional hub for sales, after-sales service, and community engagement.
Store & Expansion Highlights
- The Delhi store is River’s first in North India and the 34th outlet nationwide, strengthening the brand’s reach across top cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, and Patna.
- River aims to expand to 80 stores by March 2026, focusing on regions like Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat.
- The flagship store will also function as a regional training and service hub for the brand.
Indie Gen 3 Scooter Launch
Coinciding with the new outlet, River launched the Indie Gen 3—an advanced version of its distinctive electric scooter:

- Deeper app integration provides users with ride stats, hill-hold assist, customisable data points, and real-time charging status.
- A curated range of exclusive accessories and lifestyle merchandise is available at the Delhi outlet, reflecting River’s focus on offering a holistic mobility ecosystem.

- River EV has seen solid growth, surpassing the 1,800 monthly sales mark earlier in 2025.
