JSW MG Motor India has announced the expansion of its flagship faculty development initiative, JSW MG Nurture, aimed at equipping educators with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare students for India’s transition to electric and intelligent mobility.
Building Skills for the EV Era
Launched in 2023, the program has already trained over 80 faculty members across 50 institutions. Designed for engineering, diploma, and ITI educators, the initiative focuses on critical areas including:
- Electric Vehicles (EVs)
- Autonomous driving systems
- Connected mobility solutions
- Artificial intelligence applications
By updating faculty knowledge, the program ensures thousands of students gain access to industry-relevant training and insights.
Aligned with National Goals
The initiative directly supports the National Education Policy 2020 and India’s EV 2030 roadmap, which envisions rapid electrification of mobility. According to government estimates, India will require 10 million skilled EV professionals in the coming years—a gap this program aims to bridge.

Partnerships for Impact
Skill-Lync is the program’s education partner, designing curriculum modules and delivering hands-on workshops that align with the latest industry practices.
Looking ahead, JSW MG Motor India plans to scale the program to hundreds of institutions, adding new modules on advanced battery systems, robotics in manufacturing, and AI-powered mobility solutions. Additional sessions are already scheduled for 2025.
