Honda steps up its electric mobility game

At EICMA 2025, Honda unveiled the WN7 electric motorcycle, its most powerful EV two-wheeler yet. With a 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, the bike offers a claimed range of 160 km and a top speed of 160 km/h. It’s designed for riders who want performance without compromising sustainability, bridging the gap between petrol sportbikes and new-age electrics.

Performance, design, and connectivity

The WN7 features liquid cooling, belt drive, and multiple riding modes, catering to both city commutes and spirited rides. The sleek, aerodynamic design reflects Honda’s sport DNA, while the advanced dashboard integrates smart connectivity, regenerative braking, and digital instrumentation for a modern riding experience.

Global electrification strategy

This launch aligns with Honda’s goal of introducing over 30 electric two-wheelers by 2030. The WN7 sits above the EM1 e: and SC e:, targeting premium segments in markets like Europe and Asia. Production is expected to leverage Honda’s existing Asian supply chain, making it competitive on pricing and scalability.
