HARMAN International, a Samsung subsidiary known for its connected car and premium audio technologies, has announced an investment of ₹345 crore to expand its automotive manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra. The expansion underscores India’s rising importance as a manufacturing and R&D hub for advanced vehicle technologies and global supply networks.

Expanding capacity for connected and premium systems

The Pune plant plays a crucial role in producing high-end infotainment systems, digital cockpits, telematics, and connected solutions for leading global automakers. The new investment will boost production capacity, support new product lines, and improve automation and quality infrastructure. This will enable HARMAN to serve both domestic OEMs and export markets with greater efficiency and flexibility.
