
Eicher Trucks & Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., has entered into a strategic partnership with logistics provider Pickkup to deploy 100 Eicher Pro X EV small trucks across Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. The announcement, made on September 17, 2025, marks a significant milestone in advancing electric mobility in India’s commercial transportation sector.
Expanding EV Adoption in Logistics
The collaboration will see the Pro X EV trucks serving multiple sectors, including:
- Retail distribution
- E-commerce deliveries
- FMCG supply chains
- Perishable goods logistics
Pickkup, known for its asset-light, fully electric fleet model, already serves major e-commerce platforms and logistics companies in cities like Mohali, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru.
Advanced Technology for Higher Uptime
The Eicher Pro X EV trucks are manufactured at the company’s Industry 4.0-enabled Bhopal facility. Key features include:
- Fast-charging with CCS2 compatibility for reduced turnaround times.
- Integration with Eicher’s Uptime Centre and My Eicher connected platform offering predictive diagnostics and real-time fleet support.
These innovations are designed to improve fleet utilization, efficiency, and sustainability.
