Standardising home charging with EV purchases
Bolt.Earth has partnered with Atul Greentech Private Limited to launch a nationwide home charging programme aimed at improving electric vehicle ownership experience in India. Under the initiative, professionally installed home chargers will be offered as a standard feature with every Atul Greentech electric three-wheeler, along with customer education focused on safe charging practices.
The programme seeks to address persistent EV adoption challenges related to charging accessibility and convenience. While India’s public charging network has expanded rapidly in recent years, home-based charging remains critical for daily commercial EV operations, particularly in the three-wheeler segment.
Three-phase rollout and operational framework
The partnership will be implemented in three phases over the next three years. The first phase focuses on strategic planning and process integration between Bolt.Earth and Atul Greentech. The second phase involves nationwide deployment of home chargers through Atul Greentech’s dealership network, supported by joint branding and customer awareness initiatives. The final phase will concentrate on performance optimisation and expansion into smart charging solutions, renewable energy integration and advanced EV maintenance services.
Bolt.Earth will be responsible for charger installation, uptime management, maintenance, technical solutions, real-time data access and billing support. Atul Greentech will integrate the charging programme across its dealer network, drive customer adoption and ensure vehicle warranty coverage is linked to the use of approved home charging systems.
Strengthening EV charging ecosystem
Bolt.Earth currently operates a network of over 100,000 EV chargers across more than 1,800 cities and towns in India, positioning it as one of the country’s largest EV charging solution providers. The company aims to make EV charging as seamless and dependable as everyday consumer electronics usage.
Atul Greentech, an initiative by Atul Auto Limited, focuses on electric three-wheeler manufacturing and is backed by investor Vijay Kedia. Incorporated in 2020, the company builds on a three-decade legacy in the three-wheeler segment.
The partnership also opens avenues for future expansion into renewable-powered charging, predictive maintenance and new geographic markets, reinforcing the role of integrated charging solutions in accelerating India’s commercial EV adoption.
