Strong Sales Growth and Market Expansion
Ather Energy has achieved its best quarterly performance to date, selling 65,595 electric scooters during Q2 FY25-26 (July–September 2025). This represents a 67% year-on-year and 42% quarter-on-quarter increase in volumes. The company also posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue at ₹940 crore, a 57% jump YoY, and boosted its India market share to 17.4% from 14.3% in the previous quarter.
Retail and Charging Infrastructure Scale-Up
Ather continued expanding its retail presence, with 524 experience centres operational by the end of Q2 — up from 446 in Q1 — adding 78 outlets in just one quarter. Its fast-charging network also grew to 4,322 active points, supporting broader adoption across metro and Tier-2 markets. In South India, the brand leads with a 25% market share, reflecting strong customer trust and localized engagement.
Financial Efficiency and Profitability Trajectory
Operational improvements were evident, as EBITDA margin improved by 1,100 basis points year-on-year to -10%. For H1 FY25-26, Ather reported revenue of ₹1,543 crore and a loss of ₹332 crore, narrowing its loss margin to 21%. This compares with ₹944 crore revenue and ₹380 crore loss in H1 FY24-25, when the loss margin was 39%.
