Montra Electric has partnered with Perpetuity Capital to make financing more accessible for customers purchasing its electric passenger and cargo three-wheelers in India. The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at reducing financial barriers to EV adoption.

Flexible Finance for Electric Three-Wheelers

Under the partnership, Perpetuity Capital will offer financing solutions for Montra Electric’s three-wheeler portfolio. The options are designed to support different ownership and business requirements while simplifying the vehicle purchase process.

The financing programme will cater to:

  • Individual drivers and owner-operators
  • Entrepreneurs and small businesses
  • Fleet operators
  • Customers purchasing passenger and cargo EVs

Karamveer Singh Dhillon, Co-founder and CEO of Perpetuity Capital, said accessible and flexible credit is important for accelerating EV adoption, particularly among entrepreneurs and commercial customers who depend on these vehicles for their livelihoods.

Lowering Barriers to EV Adoption

Electric three-wheelers are increasingly being adopted for passenger mobility, goods transportation and last-mile delivery. However, financing remains an important factor influencing purchase decisions, particularly for individual operators and small businesses.

By combining Montra Electric’s vehicle portfolio with Perpetuity Capital’s financing solutions, the partnership aims to make electric mobility more financially viable for a wider customer base.

Supporting India’s Commercial EV Growth

The collaboration also strengthens access to financing for customers transitioning from conventional vehicles to electric alternatives. With tailored credit solutions, Montra Electric and Perpetuity Capital aim to support wider adoption of electric three-wheelers across India’s commercial mobility ecosystem.
