Kia India’s Carens Clavis EV has surpassed 1,100 units deployed in corporate fleets since its launch in July 2025, highlighting the growing adoption of electric vehicles in commercial mobility.

Refex Mobility Adds 100 More EVs

Strengthening this momentum, Kia India has announced the deployment of 100 additional Carens Clavis EVs to Refex Mobility. The first batch was handed over at a ceremony attended by Kia India’s leadership.

The partnership combines Kia’s EV capabilities with Refex Mobility’s fleet operations, helping enterprises integrate electric vehicles into their daily transportation needs.

Built for High-Utilisation Fleet Operations

The Carens Clavis EV offers several features that can support intensive corporate usage:

  • Spacious cabin and comfortable seating
  • Electric powertrain designed for efficient daily operations
  • Practical range for regular fleet requirements
  • Advanced battery management
  • Potentially lower operating costs compared with conventional vehicles

For Refex Mobility, the deployment further expands its portfolio of scalable EV fleet solutions for enterprises.

Corporate Fleets Could Drive EV Adoption

Corporate fleets represent an important opportunity for India’s EV transition. Unlike private vehicles, fleet vehicles typically operate more frequently and follow predictable routes, making energy costs and utilisation easier to evaluate.

The Kia–Refex partnership also highlights the importance of combining EV technology, fleet management and reliable charging infrastructure.

HEV’s Take

Kia brings the vehicle, while Refex brings the fleet ecosystem. As more businesses look to reduce emissions and optimise transportation costs, such collaborations could accelerate the shift from individual EV adoption to large-scale commercial electrification.
