On November 6, 2025, Zelio E-Mobility launched three new electric scooters—Eeva Eco LX, Eeva Eco ZX, and facelifted Eeva ZX Plus—aimed at urban commuters, young riders, women, and families. These low-speed electric scooters start at ₹51,551 ex-showroom and feature 48/60V BLDC motors delivering a range of 60-90 km per charge. Advanced attributes include digital displays, keyless start, cruise control, anti-theft alarms, USB charging ports, and LED lighting. The scooters come with a two-year warranty, underscoring Zelio’s focus on affordability and practicality.

Major Expansion: New Plant for Electric Three-Wheelers

In a strategic move to diversify, Zelio is set to open a new manufacturing plant dedicated to electric three-wheelers under the Tanga brand by April 2026. This expansion will boost production capacity and target urban and semi-urban delivery and passenger segments. The company anticipates 30-40% of future revenues to come from this segment, aided by an investment of around ₹20 crore for setting up the plant, debt servicing, and R&D focused on enhancing technology and vehicle performance.

Strong Growth and Nationwide Dealership Presence

Zelio E-Mobility posted a remarkable 77% revenue growth and 69% profit rise in H1 FY26, reflecting robust demand. The company operates over 280 dealerships across 20+ states, reinforcing its pan-India footprint. This growth trajectory and product portfolio expansion position Zelio as a key player in India’s fast-evolving electric vehicle landscape.
