Tata Motors expands its electric cargo vehicle range
Tata Motors Limited has launched the Tata Intra EV Pickup in India. This move adds a new electric pickup to its growing cargo lineup.
The vehicle starts at ₹11.95 lakh. It targets small businesses and fleet operators who need reliable cargo transport.
This launch supports India’s shift toward cleaner logistics solutions. It also strengthens Tata Motors’ electric CV leadership.
Built for heavy loads and daily cargo use
The new pickup carries up to 1,750 kg payload, which helps businesses move more goods per trip. It also features a 28.2 kWh battery with a certified range of 211 km.
This range supports daily city delivery routes. Fast charging from 10–80% in about 55 minutes helps reduce downtime.
As a result, operators can complete more trips in a day. This improves revenue and efficiency.
Technology and ecosystem support improve reliability
The pickup includes smart features such as vehicle tracking and predictive maintenance tools. These tools help fleet owners manage operations better.
The company supports the vehicle with over 25,000 charging points and 200+ service centres across India. This wide support network reduces charging concerns.
With strong infrastructure and practical design, electric cargo vehicles are becoming easier to adopt. This shift supports cleaner cities and stronger business growth.
