  • At least 20% adoption rate for EVs in the state by year 2026
  • Provide subsidy for early adoption of EV in terms of kWh capacity
  • Create skilled workforce for EV industry in collaboration with technical institutions
  • Mandate EV adoption in State Government
  • Replace State Transport buses with electric buses in a phased manner
  • Create an ecosystem for recycling and reuse of batteries

Partial motor vehicle tax waiver as follows:

  • 2 wheeler – 30% waiver on MV Tax for first 1,000 vehicles
  • 3 wheeler – 30% waiver on MV Tax for first 3,000 vehicles
  • 4 wheeler 20% waiver on MV Tax for first 2,000 vehicles
  • e-Buses – 20% waiver on MV Tax for first 8 e-buses 100% waiver on parking fee charge for 5 years
